Ist only important to knew what the other Person is talking about.
It's the same like the file Format gif.
There are several ways to pronounce it and it absolutly doesn't matter which Version you use.
I as an Austrian(the Country without cangoroos but with snow) pronounce KiCad completly different.
I've switched from Eagle to KiCad and am regegretting that I haven't switched much earlier.
